PDO (Polydioxanone) treatment, PDO thread lift or thread rejuvenation, is a non-surgical procedure aiming to lift and tighten sagging skin using biodegradable threads made of PDO material.
A thread lift can treat most parts of your face that are experiencing signs of aging. The areas around your cheeks, jaw, neck, and eyes are the most commonly treated.
This treatment can be used instead of having face-lifting surgery.
If you have good skin quality, moderate sagging in the mid-face, and an underlying solid bone structure, then you are suitable for this treatment. Clients with fragile skin, little underlying fat, or excessive sagging do not have the best results from this procedure.
This procedure provides ongoing and progressive rejuvenation for the facial tissues, making them firmer and reducing the looseness.
The procedure takes about 45 minutes.
Younger people tend to have results that last 3 to 4 years. Older people with poor skin volume or elasticity tend to see benefits for 1 to 2 years. It is best to consult your practitioner before having the treatment again.
